December 5th

STOCKBRIDGE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

We're Celebrating 21 Years and we hope you will join us.  The town of Stockbridge, made famous by Norman Rockwell's painting of the village during the holidays, becomes a magical New England setting decorated with holiday wreaths and festive lights, as the town celebrates Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas, December 4 & 5, 2010.  On Sunday, December 5th, the Main Street of Stockbridge with antiques cars parked along the street comes alive, re-creating the painting.

We are once again inviting antique car owners to participate in this great event by show casing their collectibles.  As you may know we are seeking cars made in the 1940-60's to recreate the picture. The publicity highlighting the presentation of antique cars is a great contribution to the Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce and its Holiday event.

Antique car participants who register in advance will receive a car plaque and one free "Main Street Button" which offers admittance to Sunday's activities, upon arrival.  Please note that the street will be closed to traffic at 11:30am with activities held between 12noon & 2pm.  Therefore, car owners are asked to arrive between 11:00-11:30am.  Cars that best duplicate the Main Street picture should park on The Red Lion Inn side of the street with other models directly across the street.

If you arrive while the road is blocked, please enter onto Main Street from the Red Lion Inn side.  Upon arrival, park your car on the appropriate side of street and check-in with Doug Goudey who will be in the Wheeler & Taylor Office Building at 11:00am.

Should you be able to join us again, please complete the Antique Car Participation form OR email us your information by November 15th.  Comments or questions may be directed to me at the Chamber office (413) 298-5200, info@stockbridgechamber.org

Best regards,

Barbara J. Zanetti,

Executive Director
